Getting started with Edens
Edens' most popular use case is using it as a billing solution for your work as a freelancer or team.
These features let you simplify and optimize billing processes:
- Manage your projects, teammates, and their billing terms.
- Track time spent on billable work.
- Invoice your clients.
- Provide timesheets to clients as well as access to the dashboard.
tip
Workspace setup usually takes 15 minutes, and you can also start with a demo workspace.
We recommend setting up the workspace in the following way:
- Create a workspace. You can name it as you want, and it'll be visible to your teammates and clients, but you can customize it for invoices later.
- If you’re working in a team — add teammates. You can invite only those who need to use a time tracker.
- Add clients. For each client, you can add their representatives (and invite them to the workspace, optionally).
- Add projects. For each project, assign people who are working on it.
- You can set a default hourly rate for the project and an individual hourly rate for each member. This is necessary only if you're using hourly billing.
- Configure payment methods available to your client to pay for invoices.
- Customize invoices look. You can add multiple brands to your invoices.
- Experiment with invoices — create one and add some items. You can delete the invoice before it is issued.
